The Career Institute expects the best.  We have a vision to become the best youth provider in the County of San Bernardino for this kind of work.  We have created a company that expects high quality in the delivery of services, collaboration and team work on the part of employees, an energetic work environment and support to get the work done.  We thrive on innovation and new ideas being brought to the workplace by all members of the team.  We have a continuous improvement attitude for our employees, our management and the students we serve.  We deliver engaging, relevant Career Mentoring to young adults that are ready to make big changes in their lives and take big steps toward the future.  

About the Career Institute

The Career Institute is a Career, Education and Life Planning Company.  Our mission is to help young emerging adults between the ages of 18-21 make the transition into adulthood.  We currently do this work through the framework of the Federally Funded Workforce Investment Act and under the direction of the County of San Bernardino's Workforce Development Department.  The company has a 15 year track record of work with young adults and seeks community partnerships to accomplish their goals.  The work in 2009 was to put 475 young adults to work in summer jobs under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Stimulus Package) and to start 209 young adults on a two year program to assist them with basic skills, attaining a marketable skill and industry recognized certificate and to help them to become skilled workers in the workplace.
