Student Ambassador Program Coordinator

West End San Bernadino

Georgia Burckel is a former Career Institute student from the summer of 2011. Georgia completed our Hospitality and Management program in Rancho Cucamonga. Three years after she graduated the Career Institute program, she Graduated from Chaffey College with honors/3.66 GPA and an Associates in University Studies: Social and Behavioral Sciences. She then transferred to California State University San Bernardino, and recently graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Her career goal to run and coordinate a campus program, on a community college campus, in similar work she does with our Career Institute students and Student Ambassadors.

Jocelyn Roriguez
Rancho Cucamonga
  •  2nd year as a Student Ambassador 

  • Completed the Hospitality Program at the Rancho location. 

  • Attending Chaffey College working on a Psychology major. 

  • Working at Ontario High School as a Freshman mentor. 

  • In her free time she likes to spend time with friends and family, go on adventures to new places and be at home and enjoying free time. 

  • Three words to describe her: passionate, dedicated and kind.

Tatiana Allen

Rancho Cucamonga

  • 1st year Student Ambassador

  • Attends Chaffey College studying communications

  • Currently working as a stylist at Windsor, a box office attendant at Citizens Business Bank Arena as an assistant volleyball coach at Empire Elite Volleyball Academy. 

  • In her free time she loves to be with family and going places with them or simply spending time with them. One hobby she has is scrap booking with her mother.

  • Three words to describe her: caring, adventurous and kind.

Big Bear

  • 2nd year Student Ambassador

  • Completed classes and internship through Big Bear Career Institute

  • Currently attending San Bernardino Valley college 

  • In Saara's free time she spends time with family and friends and going to the beach

  • Three words to describe Saara: Hard working, honest and reliable 

Melissa Vecchio

Big Bear

  • 1st year Student Ambassador

  • Current student studying Child Development

  • Loves to draw, hike and swim

  • 3 words to describe her: Kind, trusting and a good listener

Joshua Alban

San Bernardino

  • 1st year Student Ambassador

  • Completed College Mentoring an Internship program through West End/ Rancho Cucamonga. Also completed Professional Development courses. 

  • Currently attending Crafton Hills community college, majoring in Communications. 

  • In Joshua's free time he likes to write and read poetry, study politics, analyzing communication tactics, and exercise at the gym. 

  • Three words that best describe him are: leader, doer and empathetic. 

Anthony Mello

Lake Arrowhead

  • 1st year Student Ambassador

  • Completed Customer Service training, a paid internship, and dog grooming certification through Lake Arrowhead Career Institute.

  • Currently owns his own dog grooming business

  • Hobbies include woodworking, video games and reading

  • Three words to describe him: excitable, friendly and fun

  • 1st year Student Ambassador

  • Completed the EMT program as well as the work force development program through the Lake Arrowhead Career Institute.

  • Plans to return back to college for her nursing degree

  • Alyssa enjoys reading baking writing and learning.
